Theme: Strategies for Leadership: Grow as a Leader, Inspire as a Woman

Overview: In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, the Women Leadership Development Forum – London 2024 is a transformative educational program centred on strategic leadership. Specifically designed for women transitioning into prominent leadership roles, including first ladies, heads of governments, agencies, parastatals, political leaders, etc. The forum aims to empower participants to develop a greater influence and impact by revealing their authentic and most effective leadership style.

Rationale: Despite women’s commendable achievements, feelings of self-doubt and imposter syndrome persist when thrust into leadership roles. The forum’s theme aligns with the International Labour Organisation’s 2019 findings that women in leadership enhance business performance. The session addresses these challenges, providing participants with Strategies for Leadership to Grow as Leaders and Inspire as Women, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.

Objectives:

1. Self-Awareness & Self-Efficacy: Enhance leadership confidence by developing self-awareness for next-level positions.
2. Practical Tools & Strategies: Acquire practical tools to bolster leadership finesse, visibility, and assertiveness.
3. Adaptive Leadership: Learn to flex leadership styles, navigating professional complexities, biases, and invisible barriers.
4. Lifelong Network: Share experiences with a global group of inspiring women leaders and become part of a supportive and enduring network.
5. Invest in Yourself: Accelerate your Progress: This topic, in line with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, teaches deliberate investments in personal, professional and social development.

Mode of Delivery: The forum employs a dynamic mix of lectures, interactive roundtable sessions, and hands-on training. Drawing from extensive professional experience, expert trainers and facilitators will deliver innovative and dynamic content using various mediums, such as presentations, exercises, and references. Group discussions facilitate knowledge exchange, creating a collaborative learning environment.

• Duration: Daily 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including breaks and lunch.

Fees:

• Course Fee: £2,250 (Two Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Great British Pounds) per person.
